We have an in house repair and restoration department. All saxophones we receive are inspected and play tested. Any necessary repairs or adjustments are made. It is play tested again. Some horns can be repaired by making a couple of minor adjustments, while others may need a complete overhaul.
Our shop is up to the task. If it doesn’t play as new, we won’t sell it, it’s that simple.

Sax Overhaul
This is what a sax overhaul looks like. We completely dissasseble the horn, clean and polish all pieces. The sax is thoroughly inspected, any loose parts are soldered as needed. All pads, corks and felts are replaced. Tone holes are leveled. Damaged springs are replaced. Action is lubed and reassembled. After adjusting pads and setting the regulation, it is play tested. Any issues are addressed. It is play tested some more.
This process goes on for a couple of weeks, playing and tweaking adjustments until we are sure all is good. This allows the pads, corks, etc to set in and compress. Then we take pictures and list it for sale. What you get is a saxophone that is in new or better playing condition.
