Lamonte Alto

Description

This Vintage horn is in great condition. It was made in Italy in the 1950’s. It has about 50% of the original lacquer and a very nice patina giving it that “Vintage Horn” look. The pads are in good condition and it plays beautifully from top to bottom. Great vintage sound.

We rate each horn’s condition. Any defects are noted here. Each criteria is on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being poor condition and 10 being perfect

• Body (dents, deep scratches, etc.) – 9 very small dimples
• Finish (lacquer, silver plate, paint, etc.) – 5 lacquer is about 50% worn off, has nice patina
• Previous repairs (soldered posts, dent work, etc.) – 9 looks like one post was re-soldered, looks solid
• Accessories (case, mouthpiece, etc.) – 6 Case has wear
• Playability (leaks, sticky keys, etc.) – 10
