Selmer AS-300 Alto

Description

This is the last Selmer model to be made in the USA. In very good condition and plays like new. Great student horn. Comes with sax, neck, strap, cap, case.

Condition
We rate each horn’s condition. Any defects are noted here. Each criteria is on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being poor condition and 10 being perfect.

• Body (dents, deep scratches, etc.) – 9.5 A small dimple on bell
• Finish (lacquer, silver plate, paint, etc.) – 8 lacquer looks pretty good, some corrosion on low b flat key area
• Previous repairs (soldered posts, dent work, etc.) – 10 none noted
• Accessories (case, mouthpiece, etc.) – 8 case is very functional but lining is pulling away from the case in the 2 front corners (purely cosmetic)
• Playability (leaks, sticky keys, etc.) 10
